Sponge Holding Forceps AIZ
Specification
In surgical operations, sponge forceps, also known as sponge gripping forceps, are used to hold swabs or sponges. They are usually built in a scissor shape, with looped, smooth or serrated jaws and ratcheted handles. Depending on its basic function, sponge forceps may be bent or smooth.
Sponge carrying forceps usually have a length of seven to nine inches (about 18 to 23 centimeters). Normally, the jaws themselves are rounded. For delicate operations, elongated tips may be used. Without unnecessary pain or injury, medical sponge forceps allow small surgical operations to be carried out.
